Ruth Sapp

Executive Assistant / Liaison

Ruth is a Central Florida native, having grown up in Lakeland, Florida, and is passionate about helping people.

Her early career was in customer service and customer relations in the medical insurance industry. About 20 years ago, she transferred her exemplary customer service and people skills into non-profit work and served as Director of Congregational Services, and then Executive Assistant to the Senior Pastor at Northland Church in Longwood, where she worked for almost two decades.

Ruth transitioned to CRN when Dr. Joel C. Hunter founded the organization in 2017 and serves as Executive Assistant/Liaison for both Dr. Joel C. Hunter, founder and chairman of the organization and Dawn Haynes, the CEO. In her role at CRN, she provides administrative support for the organization as well as a compassionate listening ear to callers who are struggling and connects them to organizations that can offer support and resources. In addition to her role at CRN, Ruth serves as Client and Community Relations Liaison for Parable Foundation and as a board member for Simple. Help and PACE Brantley School.
