Dawn Haynes has been a resident of Central Florida for more than three decades and cares deeply about acceptance, equality, and opportunity for every individual who calls Central Florida home! She is a passionate advocate and crusader for affordable housing, believing everyone deserves a healthy, sustainable and durable home, regardless of income level.
Dawn is a native of Great Britain, a passionate life-long learner, and has had the good fortune to work globally for some of the world’s top brands, including British Airways, The Walt Disney Company and Weight Watchers International. Her global experience has provided an opportunity to listen, learn about and embrace various cultures and understand their different perspectives. Throughout her corporate career in executive leadership, whether working with large multinationals, entrepreneurial organizations or running her own consulting business, she developed a ‘people first’ philosophy. This approach, coupled with her collaborative leadership style and passion for problem-solving has enabled her to spearhead numerous successful alignments of people, processes and systems into strategic solutions which delivered cultural, social and commercial impact. Dawn holds an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and has served as an Adjunct Professor in the professional MBA program at the UCF Executive Development Center.
As CEO at CRN, Dawn works alongside the team as well as strategic partners in the region and across the country to identify evidence-based best practices that support and effectively implement ‘good Neighboring’. In addition to her role at CRN, Dawn serves as Vice President of the Board for Samaritan Resource Center, is a member of the Leadership Council for the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness, and serves on the Community and Support Services Board for Catholic Charities of Central Florida.
